Human Mobility, Rights, and Borders: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Protection, Integration, and Exclusion
Public Online Dialogue
As part of the renewal of the cooperation agreement between Viadrina and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), new opportunities for collaboration have been identified. A particular focus is currently on exchanges between researchers and faculty members from both universities.
Against this backdrop, UNAM Germany, in collaboration with the International Office at Viadrina and coordinated by Claudia Casiano, is organizing an international online dialogue. The goal of the event is to connect researchers from both institutions, highlight shared research interests, and develop new opportunities for collaboration.
The thematic focus of the dialogue is “Human Mobility, Rights, and Borders: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Protection, Integration, and Exclusion.” The event will explore various subtopics from an interdisciplinary perspective, including issues related to border regimes, migration, social and political integration, the protection of human rights, and mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion. The event will be open to the public and is aimed at members of both universities as well as the interested general public. The program is currently in the final stages of coordination and will be published here shortly.
