Main areas of work at the Center

Besides deepening existing contacts to staff members of the Center and the Viadrina, I am looking forward to the exchange and the exciting events. I use the productive atmosphere at the Center to finalize my critical-sociolinguistic dissertation, in which I dealt with the construction and experience of (physical and social-symbolic) borders of asylum seekers in Vienna from a positional-analytical perspective. After my first research stay at the Center two years ago, I am happy that I am now back at the Center for the completion of my dissertation project and that I can present the most important research results and critically reflect on research methodological issues and problems in the context of my lecture at the Research Factory.
