"Dwelling, elsewhere" webinar series about borders, borderscapes and movements over Öresund and beyond

The Öresund Comparative Borderlands Research Group - a new collaboration between Lund University, the University of Copenhagen and Malmö University - will be restarting the monthly Dwelling, elsewhere webinar series on 17 October with a discussion about walking excursions and food as entry-points for exploring  bordering practices on the German-Danish border.

Everyone is welcome to join - no cost or registration is needed. A description of the full program and zoom links are available on our homepage:

Formerly the Borderland Working Group, the new platform provides a space for researchers, artists and practitioners in the Öresund to work together to advance wider knowledge about the conditions and experiences of wider European bordering and borderlands. Embracing an assertively interdisciplinary and comparative approach to critical border studies, we seek to generate conceptual frameworks and methodologies that strengthen awareness, understanding and action over the ways borders are constituted, inhabited and politicised within, beyond and in connection with the Öresund itself.
